At the origin of SIBEL, there's Sibel Dinçer,a Turkish artist who arrived in Belgium in the mid 90's. The group, based in Brussels, performs on a repertoire that explores themes from popular turkish songs. It's a musical cocktail of pop and jazz with lyrics in turkish and english. They released two albums "Sibel" autoproduction & "NE BIRAKTIK" ( Hysterias). SIBEL duo is the "unplugged" version of the project : Sibel Dinçer (lead voc. & Violin) and Daniel Vincke (guitar, backing voc.)
